'Map Options' tab Map Title Map Bounds Catchment displays 'Map Options' tab Click on the ‘map options’ tab to choose how your selected catchments and readership data will be presented on your map. Map Title On the right hand side of this page you are given the option to input a relevant Map Title. Map Bounds Directly underneath you are also presented with an option of how you would like your map to be presented. Fit to User Lists Select ‘Fit to User Lists’ for a map of your User List catchment area only and the relevant selected geography type that are within that area. Snug Fit to whole selection Select ‘Snug Fit to whole selection’ for a map that will show your User List area and the whole area of your selected geography types. UK Map Selecting ‘UK Map’ to display a map of your selected catchments within the whole of the UK. The table below presents four columns entitled: Catchment, Sector Labels, Sector Boundaries, and Readership Penetration. These are used as follows: Catchment displays The Catchment column shows the catchments you have selected to map broken down by their respective geography types. The 'Whole Map' function is used in relation to the Sector Labels and Sector Boundaries columns. Sector Labels This Sector Label option allows you to display postcode sector names on the map, either per geography type selection i.e. a newspaper title, or for the whole area covered by the map by selecting the 'Whole Map' option. Sector Boundaries Sector Boundaries This Sector Boundaries option allows you to display the boundaries of the postcode sectors according to their geography type, by selecting per geography type or for the whole area covered by the map by choosing the 'Whole Map' option. Readership Penetration Selecting a Readership Penetration radio button of a newspaper title shows hot>cold shading depicting readership penetration within the catchment area of the newspaper when you choose to view the map. IMPORTANT NOTE Showing sector boundaries and / or readership penetration data will add significantly to the file-size of your map. A large file sized map will take longer to produce and download.
